Signs (2002)

In the past month or so I've gotten my fill of movies I haven't seen. I think as a result, I'm starting to feel like I need to start watching movies that I've already seen, especially movies which I've seen prior to the start of my blog, because that's starting to bother me. For example, I've seen most of Johnny Depp's movies, but that was prior to the blog, and it bothers me that I don't have an immediate record of this. Similarly with Ben Stiller.

In any case, this isn't a scary movie. I think when I first saw it, it might have given me a jump or two, but it's more inspirational than scary. In addition, having seen it before, I knew the majority of suspense points and resolution. But I forgot the suspense and resolution the pantry seen.

I watched the movie because I didn't know Abigail Breslin then, and so it's interesting to go back and watch the movie and know who she is. Which reminds me, I have to watch E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Yesterday I watched Seven Years in Tibet (1997) and Black Beauty (1994) which stars David Thewlis, ten years before his role as Lupin in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004).
