Batman Forever (1995)

20101210:
I didn't like Val Kilmer as Batman as much as Michael Keaton's portrayal of Batman. Though I guess overall the movie had a different feel to it.

Batman / Bruce Wayne (Val Kilmer)

I had just read yesterday about how Dick Grayson was from a family of acrobatics known as the "Flying Graysons." So it was interesting to see that portrayed here. The movie also alludes to the name Nightwing in the list of possible names.

My favorite line from the movie is "Holey rusted metal, Batman!" (followed by) "The ground, it's all metal. It's full of holes. You know, holey." Reference to the TV Series starring Adam West and Burt Ward.

Two-Face / Harvey Dent (Tommy Lee Jones)

Oh right, and then there's the reference to Superman: The circus is probably halfway to Metropolis.

Overall, ok.

Chris O'Donnell was Charlie Simms in Scent of a Woman (1992).

Jim Carrey was an excellent Riddler. Tommy Lee Jones was a good Two-Face.

Riddler / Dr. Edward Nygma (Jim Carrey)

Nicole Kidman was beautiful and appealing but didn't add to the film the way Michelle Pfeiffer did in Batman. It would have been better to write Kidman in as one of the female Batman villains.

Drew Barrymore is hot!

As of 20180216, Netflix determined the movie for me as a 98% match.
