Lupin the 3rd: The Castle of Cagliostro (1979)

Overview: Lupin the 3rd, a thief, and his partner Jigen are looking for the source of well-made counterfeit money. They're hunt leads them to Lady Clarisse d' Cagliostro, who Lupin wishes to save from Count Cagliostro, who is arranged to marry Clarisse. Along the way, Lupin gets the help of Goemon, a samurai, Fujiko, a fellow thief, and Inspector Zenigata, a police inspector out on a mission to arrest Lupin.

Lupin the 3rd: The Castle of Cagliostro was a reat movie. The beginning quickly established a mood. It had great music. It also had great animation, especially for a movie released in the 80s.

I haven't seen the show or read any of the manga, but this movie made me want to watch the show or read the manga.

*Initially, on 20181130, I couldn't find my notes on the movie; it seemed unlike me. Luckily, Ada woke up from her nap and came out while the movie was still playing and she recognized it as "Lupin." That's when I realized that we had watched it together, and typically, when I watch a movie with her, I'll either not take any notes or take notes via text messages to my email. In this case, it was the latter.
