Justice League: The New Frontier (2008)

20101129:
This movie has a heavy focus on the Hal Jordan Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter stories. After those two, we have the following roles of importance (most to least): Superman, Batman, the Flash, and Wonder Woman. Other characters appear but aren't nearly as prominent.

Note: This movie is geared towards more mature audiences. If I recall correctly, it's more for adults than Batman Under the Red Hood and Superman Doomsday. I could be wrong, but there is blood splatter. In fact at the beginning there is an implied suicide.

I'm not familiar with the older versions of the characters, but I'm guessing the characters were drawn with an earlier style (e.g., costumes look different and "older") to reflect the movie being set in the 1950's. I'll have to do some research on the area.

To answer my previous suspicion, I did some searching and specifically found the following (on the source comic DC: The New Frontier): "New Frontier is set primarily in the 1950s and depicts Golden Age superheroes Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman meeting Silver Age characters The Flash, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter."
