This movie was interesting, but also required more attention than I gave it.
I would entertain the idea of watching this movie again to get some of the intricacies which the film would have to offer.
My favorite scene in the movie was when Smiley (Gary Oldman) tells Guillam (Benedict Cumberbatch) the story about his meeting with Karla.
Netflix determined the movie for me as a 85% match. I decided to give the movie neither a thumbs up nor a thumbs down.

I don't understand the beginning of the movie. [I guess all to really understand is the operation went wrong. Likely it went wrong because of the mole.]
Benedict Cumberbatch. [I looked up when he became well known. Apparently this was one of his earlier roles after his "breakthrough" in television movie Hawking (2004) and television series Sherlock (2010). In 2011, in addition to this film, he had a role in War Horse.]
I think it's him on the piece. [It's revealed a scene later]
The film is being shown out of order? Maybe just in pieces. We'll see.
"If it's bad, don't come back."
Intense. Guillam comes back and beats Tarr.
Ouch. "Because he was at my house that night."
Tinker (Alleline), Tailor (Haydon), Soldier (Bland), and Poorman (Esterhase). Smiley's code name isn't revealed.
I'm curious at that point why the book/movie is named Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. Does that implicate Poorman?

Smiley wonders and asks, "How did Esterhase hear about Tinker/Tailor?" This would coincide with my question above, does the title implicate Esterhase (Poorman)?
