20180522:
Having recently started the Naruto Shippuden series, I decided to watch some of the Naruto Shippuden movies. Thus far, I've watched up to episode 155 and this movie is said to occur "After Shippuden episode 53, when Naruto, Sakura, Sai and Yamato returned to the village."
While the story of this movie was weak, I enjoyed the action and the ending of the movie.
Netflix determined the movie for me as a 66% match. I decided to give the movie neither a thumbs up nor a thumbs down.
Instant Comments:
I would have thought he was dreaming.
My goodness. He just cut himself open like it was nothing.
Hmm. I wonder how many plots have used stone/inanimate armies
"She alone has the power to undo me." Does that mean destroy? As in, his first objective is to find the person that can destroy him? Uh... what!?! There usually two downfalls to a villain: 1) letting the hero become more powerful and 2) going after the hero instead of whatever else.
Changed to English audio around the twenty minute mark.
Hahaha. "Is your friend dumb or something?" - Lady Shion about Naruto. "Uh, yeah." - Sakura.
Oh Naruto...
It's interesting that Negi didn't lay any sort of blame on Naruto for Naruto leaving the formation.
While many dislike Sasuke and Sakura, I get annoyed by Naruto. This one comment in a "Who is the most annoying character in Naruto?" Reddit thread captures my thoughts:
She could have just seen his clone.
"Are you kidding!?! Do you have any idea how exhausting this is?"
Super Chakra Rasengan.
Credits:
There's a scene after the credits. "You bet. You know me. I'm always up for anything."

Naruto. Great show, but Naruto as a character (despite having some solid development) literally came across as brain dead which was charming at first, but soon wore off. Also his stubbornness got to be really annoying at times since he never knew when to leave something alone and was basically "my way or the high way"
