Sasuke's appearance in this movie was refreshing.
Among the Naruto movies up until this point (by chronological release), this one felt like it had the most action.
Netflix determined the movie for me as a 93% match. I decided to give the movie neither a thumbs up nor a thumbs down. I gave the movie 8 out of 10 on IMDb.com.

What!?! Did he really just sacrifice himself for Amaru? For a second, I thought for once a character would be punished for rashly running out ahead of the team. Well, I guess Amaru was punished, but not by his/her own life.
Why did Shinnō release a beam and seemingly kill his own troops. Unless he had trouble aiming the beam. Note the Wiki page for Land of the Sky said this "The remnants of the fleet were completely incinerated when Shinnō launched a beam from the Ancor Vantian as a demonstration." [I went back to watch the scene and he in fact destroyed a third ship with people on it. The surrounding ship debris also vanished. In any case, I'll just have to ignore this non-sensical demonstration.]
