This is the first time I've seen the sequel. Compared to The Rescuers (1977), The Rescuers Down Under felt more adventurous. The music, however, was as memorable as the first movie, which is to say, not memorable at all. On the other hand, I love all the new characters and of course Bianca and Bernard are wonderful.

Despite liking the second movie better, I would recommend you see the first movie before seeing the sequel, because minor plot points in the second movie will make more sense after seeing the first one.

Side note: It was the first movie I watched on my new computer monitor.
