20130616:
Since this movie had a lot of talking, I decided to turn on the English subtitles.
Though I had seen it before, I had little memory of the plot and I had no idea where the movie was going.
Additionally, it was nice to be able to pause the movie and discuss what was going on with my friend, because the protagonist Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) leads such a convoluted life.
While events and relationships mostly resolved themselves by the end in a happy manner, I dwelled on the fact that the protagonist divorced and left her children. Especially since the stereotype is that the man is usually the one abandoning the family.
20140325:
After watching Breakfast at Tiffany's for a third time, I have a better understanding of it. While it can be strange at times, the movie is worth watching and it's one I'm sure to watch again and again.
