The Bucket List (2007)

20170610:
The movie had some good moments, but generally lacked substance.

Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman)
Edward Cole (Jack Nicholson)

Morgan Freeman gave a good performance. Meanwhile, Jack Nicholson played the tougher role, but well, and thus his performance was even better than Freeman's. I loved the way Nicholson delivered his lines.

Overall, it was worth watching it once, and I would recommend it as a movie if Netflix recommends it to you.

Netflix determined the movie for me as a 98% match. I decided to give the movie neither a thumbs up nor a thumbs down.

Instant Comments:
Cole had to pass up a meeting with Michelle Pfeiffer. [My girlfriend just asked if he was the Joker.]
References Apocalypse Now (1979). "I love the smell of chemo in the morning." "Makes me feel like victory!"

Asking about his marriage. "How's that going?" "It's going."
References Rain Man (1988). "Do you mind if I call you Ray? Main man Ray."
Hahaha. "Three things to remember when you get older: never pass up a bathroom, never waste a hard-on, and never trust a fart." "I'll keep that in mind as I approach decrepitude."

Touching ending.
The narration threw off my expectation of the ending.
