20150810:
While I've seen bits and pieces of the spin-off television show, this was my first time watching the film, and overall I thought it was a decent movie. Though between itself and Mean Girls (2004), I would recommend Mean Girls as the better movie.

Murray (Donald Faison)
One detail I would point out is that I thought John (Paul Rudd) was Cher's (Alicia Silverstone) half-brother, but he's her ex-stepbrother. This mistake on my part was particularly silly, because I even noted when Rudd's character is introduced that "he plays her stepbrother."

Amber (Elisa Donovan)
In any case, if you like movies like Mean Girls (2004), then you would probably enjoy Clueless (1995), and vice versa.

Upon writing this entry, I learned the film is loosely basted on Jane Austen's novel Emma. I also learned that the character Tai was played by Brittany Murphy.

Cher and her ex-stepbrother Josh (Paul Rudd)
Instant Comments:
Haha, pagers.
"Woman, why aren't you answering any of my pages?"
"Ew, get off of me, uh, as if." Lol.
She kept her gum on her index finger.

Proper P.E. (Physical Education) Attire
Paul Rudd! He plays her stepbrother. [I later read that he's just her ex-stepbrother, because her father had divorced his mom]
"I don't remember getting the first notice."
"I feel like such a heifer..."
"Honey, I couldn't be happier if they were based on real grades."

Cher's report card. Note that the grades have been changed, but the comments have not.
@22min: "Clueless"
"Cher, you guys, I never had straight friends before."
"How about sterilization?"
Mentos commercial.
"Oh, I'm not a virgin."

Tai (Brittany Murphy)
Haha. Old-fashioned navigating via a book.
"That Polonius guy did." (so her [ex] step-brother's girlfriend acts as a foil in terms of intellect, while she's book smart, her intellect is not flawless: Cher is able to correct the quote attribution via her movie knowledge)

Cher's dad Mel Horowitz (Dan Hedaya)
"Hey you, if anything happens to my daughter I got a forty-five and a shovel."
Talking with the bartender... Dancing with the guy...
Plops entire roll of cookies down.
Tony Curtis.

He covers her feet. (Poor Cher...)
Cher created a monster! (when they're all talking at the table)
Cher makes the realization about seven minutes later.
Repetition of "Clueless" @77min

Travis (Breckin Meyer)
Uh... what a strange realization... Mainly because I thought that was taboo. [It turns out I missed the fact that her dad and his mom divorced, so they are no longer stepbrother and stepsister]
Lol. "I don't think they need your skis."

Pippi Longstocking
