Labyrinth (1986)

The main title sequence was just weird. But overall David Bowie was great and the music was hilarious.

Jareth the Goblin King (David Bowie)

I also loved the puppets and the artistic direction of the movie.

At first I thought the movie was cheesy, but then the movie got better; I liked the movie a lot.

Sarah Williams (Jennifer Connelly)

In particular, just look past the unrealistic rocks rolling around and consider the heartwarming and heroic themes of the movie.

I also like the smaller themes like asking the right questions and taking things for granted.

Hoggle (Shari Weiser / Brian Henson (voice))

2: Over-dramatic?
2: We see she loves fairytales.

Sir Didymus (Dave Goelz / David Shaughnessy (voice))

2: Love the goblins.
2: How suspenseful...
2: "You have 13 hours to solve the Labyrinth..."
2: "such a pity"

Credits:
2b: There's a crystal ball choreographer and performer. I don't remember if it was the same person or not.
3b: Crystal Ball Manipulation Choreographed and Performed by Michael Moschen.
[20110607] Young Jennifer Connelly.

20150910,1:
For whatever reason, I previously put this movie in my top 50. While likable, I don't think the movie is that good and removed the tag.

With that being said, the movie is great for children and families - though occasionally creepy. If you like The NeverEnding Story (1984), then you might also enjoy Labyrinth (and vice versa); the two films are set in fantasy worlds and made around the same time.

Ludo (Ron Mueck and Rob Mills / Ron Mueck (voice))
