Leap! (2016)

20170511:
This was the third film I watched on the long flight back from Philippines to the United States. I would note, however, that the movie was titled Ballerina. Apparently it'll be released in the US under the title Leap! in August of this year.

Felicie (Elle Fanning)

In any case, I thought the story was rough around the edges, but I enjoyed it as a whole. In particular, I absolutely loved the energy of the protagonist Felicie.

Overall, Ballerina (or should I say Leap!) is a wonderful children's film and a great reminder to follow one's own dreams, and not one's parent's dreams.

Odette (Carly Rae Jepsen)

On 20181030, Netflix determined the movie for me as a 82% match. I decided to give the movie neither a thumbs up nor a thumbs down.

Instant Comments:

1: "She lost her spirit."
1: She found it!
1: Awww... [20181030: This is probably a comment for when she hugs Luteau]

Camille (Maddie Ziegler)

A: Dance battle!
A: That leap is perfectly animated.

Credits:
1: Elle Fanning, Carly Rae Jepsen, Klaus Badelt, Carly Rae Jepsen sings the two credit songs.
