The Evil Dead (1981)

20101031:
This movie was a mix of suspenseful type of scary and just plain ridiculous gore. The mood is something along the lines of Suspiria (1977). Between the two I like Suspiria better.

Great scene: "The Evil Dead" tree.

I wasn't surprised by the ending.

The evil that was possessing everybody certainly had a sense of humor and took its time.

In the end, it's not exactly my kind of movie, but I thought I'd give it a try.

Hahaha. "Well it might not be that bad." "No." "Actually it might be kinda nice." "Yeah."
"This thing is solid as a rock."
What's the point of locking a door if you're going to leave the key at the top of the frame in plain sight.
Why would you walk outside if you think someone is stalking you? Worse than that, she goes deep into the woods. "I know someone's out there." Survival of the fittest.
I decided at the 32 minute mark to watch some South Park instead. I'll resume the movie later.
