The Godfather (1972)

At first I was looking for a movie I might have seen. But then I decided, I haven't seen The Godfather and it's such a famous movie to not have seen. Of course, I have to study, but better to have sort of seen it than to never have seen it.

Instant comments:
The opening scene I suppose sets up the Godfather's authority. Vito Corleone.
Then we see he won't take a picture without Michael. Making Michael an important person.
Scenes cut back and forth between the office and outside. Happiness of a wedding and sunlight contrasted with business and a dark room.
The one scene we see the person who shows a lot of respect to the Godfather.
The FBI coming around might just serve to set up a little tension in the movie. But then there's the smashing of the camera. I suppose this shows the family is above the law.
"He made him an offer he couldn't refuse." "That's my family Kay, that's not me."
Haha: "You can act like a man!" [mocks crying]
"I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse."
Hollywood business.
Narcotics discussion.
Sucks for that one guy.
What? Something's going down...
Not paying attention has it's trouble with so many characters. "Take the cannoli."
Corrupted cops.
Whoa that scene was good... My heart was racing during the tension.
"I think you got hit by the thunderbolt" (in Italian)
My mom once told me the expression of a lightning/thunderbolt. After enough conversation, I understood it to mean something of "Love at first sight."

Michael has transformed.
The baptism scene... nicely done.
End scene... great.
Netflix cuts off the last couple notes of music at the end of the credits.
