The other day I watched the preview scene for She's All That on Netflix - it was the scene where the female lead (Rachael Leigh Cook) walks down the stairs, but then trips and falls into the arms of the male lead (Freddie Prinze Jr.). At first I recognized that the entire scene was parodied in Not Another Teen Movie, and then I also recognized that the female lead character in NATM, Janey Briggs, is named after the female lead character in SAT, Laney Boggs. Apparently the plot of She's All That is one of they primary plots being followed in Not Another Teen Movie.
