Django Unchained (2012)

I wrote: "Django Unchained was funny and suspenseful. It was long, but engaging and great. I don't remember watching any trailers for it, and constantly surprised by the events of the movie as a whole. It is definitely characteristic of Tarantino's work." 7:31PM PT

Django (Jamie Foxx)

However, there is one part of the movie which felt out of place; I couldn't help but notice something was wrong.

Of course, aside from that one plot point, the movie was a lot of fun to watch. With that being said, while I fully enjoyed the first half of the movie, I only enjoyed most of the second half. In particular, I liked Leonardo DiCaprio's performance as Calvin Candie. However, my favorite character in the movie is Dr. King Schultz (Christopher Waltz).*
