1b: Makes sense from a story perspective (he said she added human vocals...); as a species we are a monster that collectively can compete with these other monsters; earlier Maddie called her mom a monster

1b: An aircraft can hardly outrun Monster Zero and she's gonna drive with this device inside a car?
