20160930,1002:
I watched this movie again and it had its moments. While I remembered nothing about the plot prior to watching, I recognized various scenes throughout the movie (e.g., fight with Mark Hamill).
I'm not sure how much I liked it the first time around, but I'd say I only partially liked the movie during this viewing with the best parts of the movie being all the references to other parts of the View Askewniverse.
Overall, I would recommend watching the movie after the films which precede it (Clerks (1994), Mallrats (1995), Chasing Amy (1997), and Dogma (1999)).

1a: Jokes that they would probably be played by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
1a: Wrong book. (Jay goes down on the nun)
1a: Ha. Pokes fun at Scooby Doo.
