King Louis XIV (Leonardo DiCaprio) |
20131019:
While I remembered a portion of the plot, I definitely forgot several important details.
Overall, it was a fun movie to watch and I thought it flowed well. There was a good balance of tension and resolution throughout the movie, building up for an exciting and dramatic finish.
Athos (John Malkovich) |
Instant Comments:
"Raoul, I am a young king, but I am King." "Then be a good king, Your Majesty." Oh snaps.
Ha. That scream sounds out of place.
Man, Athos (John Malkovich) is such a bad-ass.
Oh, I love his reaction when he touches his face just ever so slightly.
Aramis (Jeremy Irons) |
"Why are you so glum?" "I expected action. There was no killing, there was no fighting. I was useless." Ha!
Lol. Porthos staring at her cleavage.
"I can make your sword straight." Aww, how sad, three woman and he couldn't get it up.
Hahaha. "It's alright, I sawed the beam." The hut collapses. "I'm a genius, not an engineer."
D'Artagnan (Gabriel Byrne) |
The problem with duty.
Way to ruin things D'artagnan.
"We fear the mask would destroy you." "I wear the mask, it does not wear me."
The big confirmation at the 1 hour 55 minute mark.
