this movie is currently interesting because Cena's character is somewhat neutral ground, doing the mission to help the people, supposedly his brother's goal is to get some evil chinese, whilr jackie chan is evacuating people. I think the chinese are "good" and his brother is "bad". but why kidnap and not take out

how crazy he was willing to sacrifice himself to kill someone else. perhaps he thought anyways he'd go to prison or something wkrse than living
hmm chasing after that guy was just gor revenge. unrelated to stopping thr oil heist. (they are on cliff yelling for help)
ah ok. the team storms the ships. but they could have done that anyways... well I guess the revenge aspect or catching the bad guy is still a must. but they put themselves in unnecessary danger. when probably they could have just sent a helicopter after him.
