20130201:
This movie will have a special place in my heart, because I relate with part of its plot. Whether or not I would have liked the movie otherwise is hard to say. I definitely liked the characters and plot as a whole. The movie reminded me of the romantic comedy (500) Days of Summer (2009), except this film was just a comedy and I didn't like it as much as 500 Days. In the end, it is a decent comedy and worth watching at least once.
Instant Comments:
Haha. "Who is dis?" "Who it das."
Ha. The look on her face.
Hahahaha. "Ooo... one more thing. I got the cake on the internet."
We first see him sleepwalking at 8 minutes. "There's a jackal in the road."
Hahaha. DVR'd Wedding Tales and Baby Tales.
Oh shit. Dresser drawer.
Oh my God. So silly looking, the lip-synching.
These characters are interesting.
Haha. "My other job is at Hooter's. Which is crazy cause one of my boobs is bigger than my other boob."
Strange... his dream is being built from his misery. But ultimately, that's what he wanted. That is, he didn't want to be married until he was sure nothing else good would happen in his life. Oh wow. Now that I think about it, his dream was being built from that one line. Ironic.
I mean, in his defense, he did try to hold strong and prevent the situation. But at the same time, he was talking about the fact that he can't get married, because of his profession.
"I said 'No thank you.'" Ha.
But it's true, real-life situations are pretty funny. It's analogous to my experience that music from emotions is pretty funny.
At the 1 hour 6 minute mark, he's in Maryland. At a La Quinta Inn.
Wow. Just wow. Wow.
At the 1 hour 11 minute mark, I have no idea where the movie is headed. It's just so crazy.
I can relate to him finally being able to gain a confidence to say something after having his own independent life.
"I didn't want to hurt you." Yes. I believe it. Wow.
This movie gets a special place in my heart, because of what it was about, and how I relate to it.
