This movie was alright. The beginning was a little confusing, and the overall plot wasn't engaging. It had its fun moments.

I did however enjoy all the lines given to the protagonist's parents. Patricia Clarkson is the mom and Stanley Tucci is the dad. The interaction between the protagonist and her parents is also great.

I had wanted to watch this movie at the cheap theater last winter, but there wasn't time to go. It was on the list with many other movies, such as Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010) and Alpha and Omega (2010). Having seen this movie now, I'm glad I didn't spend two or three bucks to see it in theaters, but if I had, I wouldn't have regretted doing so.

Movies similar to Easy A include Cruel Intentions (1999), Mean Girls (2004), or Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). With that being said, I have only seen a trailer of Mean Girls, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen was a terrible movie, and Cruel Intentions is more dramatic. The feel of this movie would be more like 13 Going on 30 (2004).

Instant Comments:
the first three to five minutes of the movie was kind of confusing and weird
Lol hating a song and then listening to it and then loving it... is so real.
Amanda Bynes!
the parents are funny
twat
lol "big tits"
Emma Stone was cooler in Superbad, and even cooler in Zombieland (2009). She looks taller in Zombieland, but I guess that's cause she stands next to Abigail Breslin. But also in this movie, most of the shots are from her waist up.
Lol the fake sex scene is funny...
From this on, the movie is better.
Lisa Kudrow!
Lol "Enjoy eating your balls."
lol pat on the head [Emma Stone pats Amanda Bynes on the head]
lol Lisa Kudrow. "God damn shit bad."...
lol that's in the bestsellers section. next to twilight
"Who would you believe?"
cool end credits [credits are shown stacked along the road, cars are passing by]

Cast:
Off the top of my head I only remembered Stanley Tucci from Shall We Dance (2004). But after looking at his filmography, he's been in the following movies I've seen: Julie & Julia (2009), The Terminal (2004), The Core (2003), Maid in Manhattan (2002), America's Sweethearts (2001), and Deconstructing Harry (1997). He also did voice acting in The Tale of Despereaux (2008) and Robots (2005).
