I saw this show was expiring 20250630. With three seasons, I'd have to do some binging. Fortunately, 38 episodes at about 20ish minutes each would be just about 12 hours. In any case, I decided to watch with English audio (and English subtitles).

I finished the series today. While it had its moments, and there was some nostalgia, I mostly felt it was a chore to watch. As such, I'll be giving it a low 2.2 rating.

AI response contained this "Destruction and Rebirth: Sailor Saturn's primary role is to destroy planets, which is necessary for rebirth. She wields the Silence Glaive and can destroy entire worlds with a swing. However, this act of destruction also allows for new life to begin." This aligns with my expectation]

The Sailor Guardians almost going out in a fight in the last episode was on the edge of cool. Then it goes back to just an attack that vanquishes the enemy. So lame.

The three outer Guardians know of Saturn, but the inner Guardians must be bad at planets cause it's clear there was a just one planet left that didn't have a Guardian.
I'm not sure I understand the story they're telling. Somehow Silver Millenium was already being destroyed and then Saturn was summoned. I feel like it's more of a Phoenix kind of situation [I couldn't help but Google it. AI response contained this "Destruction and Rebirth: Sailor Saturn's primary role is to destroy planets, which is necessary for rebirth. She wields the Silence Glaive and can destroy entire worlds with a swing. However, this act of destruction also allows for new life to begin." This aligns with my expectation]

Chibi Moon is admiring Sailor Moon's power (becoming Super Sailor Moon) but I feel like that's just the combined power of the Guardians. I don't think Sailor Moon really does anything in a character growth perspective to become more powerful... at least other than have emotions. which I suppose is the point? But like... she's just having emotions... there's no deep reflection or struggle
How cheesy. Sailor Chibi-Moon also gets a chalice to become Super Chibi-Moon

I think one thing I like to watch Demon Slayer is the protagonist there is always thinking about strategy of the fight. This is like the opposite of that show. There's no strategy whatsoever. Not one moment are they thinking... maybe we can try to summon Sailor Saturn with our talismans. It doesn't have to work. They just have to try it
