20261016:
It's unfortunate that I basically knew the ending prior to watching the movie - so it was more like a second watching. Furthermore, I didn't want to be scared and so I used a jump scare timer to prep for all the scary moments. Some moments weren't so bad. Actually, I think everything except perhaps the scare with the violin was manageable. All this is to say, I don't feel as if I was able to fully enjoy the film.

Technically first time watching (I may have seen the first part of it before), but I believe I know the twist. I have a jump scare timer pulled up (whenjumpscare.com).
The open cabinets and cold handprints...
Given that I think I know the twist: she doesn't explicitly address Bruce Willis's character, she only turns in his direction as she goes to make pancakes
It's strange watching this with the pre-existing possible knowledge of the twist: his wife doesn't engage with him at this dinner table [she says happy anniverary but it's different than one would do even if one were simply angry]
Based on the board behind him: Philadelphia. [that is the correct answer]
Hehe. Interesting interaction; I think what I wasn't sure on is Cole's status, but I feel like this scene makes his presence tangible
this is M. Night Shyamalan's cameo
"All the time. They're everywhere."
Wow. So as mentioned I have the jump scare timer on. I knew it was coming. I was looking away, I had turned the volume down a bit. But the violin that plays and seeing something passed sent a shiver up through my fingers and up the hands (which were rested on the keyboard)
wow. this scene is scary (with the cuts) even though it wasn't a jump scare
she wants him to tell her and yet she basically punished him earlier for telling the truth
that's crazy how Vincent shared symptoms Cole
wow. I'm tense. "Do you want to tell me something?"
("I won't see you again") I wonder if Malcolm knew at this point
That's good that there was a way for him to prove himself
Oh okay. He only realizes now
