Robin Hood (1991)

Made-for-TV movie.

I liked the movie's use of tension between the Normans and the Saxons. Apparently, according to Wikipedia, the movie shares a lot of its plot with The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938). I also liked the movie's realistic feeling as opposed to Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) which was lighthearted and full of intentional anachronisms.

While I'm setting out to watch more Robin Hood movies, I'd say this one was decent. Of course, as a fan of Disney movies, I like Disney's Robin Hood better than this one. Even without being a fan, Disney's Robin Hood is full of good fun, music, and laughter.
