First off, because I've seen the movie before, I chose to watch this movie so that I can multi-task. Another reason I chose to watch this movie was because I didn't remember what happened in the movie. In fact, I thought the movie opened by a failure and that the movie would progress by overcoming that failure.
There were two or three moments in this movie that just felt repetitive. To make reference to an earlier part of the film is allowed and in fact expected, but to essentially repeat a scene makes a movie boring.
But it is Keanu Reeves's bad dialogue delivery that ruins the movie for me. Sandra Bullock is there to recover some of the damage.
In any case, it's worth watching. Perhaps you'll enjoy it more than I did.
Sandra Bullock's role in this movie was bigger and better than her role in Crash, which I watched several hours before watching this movie.

Today I decided to watch Speed. I didn't realize I already had an entry for it until after finishing the movie. Overall, I enjoyed the movie. I was surprised when reading my old comments above that I didn't like the movie back then. Perhaps back then I was more focused on the details and less focused on the action and suspense.

2: is the bus going to run out of gas at some point? [I ask before he's ready to go under the bus]
2: he poked a hole in the gas tank? so now the bus will run out of gas?
2: that fuel gauge is dropping fast...
2: I would imagine the bomber's house be rigged with bombs
2: why would he let go. he wants the money. why would he let go
2: hehe. "well I'm taller."
2: "he lost his head"
2: well maybe take the explosives and blow a part of the train that would derail it
2: lol that totally looks like a toy train (after the workers are running away)
