If I remember correctly, then I watched this movie (on 20040417) before I watched Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003). Then several days after this, several of my friends got together to watch the first movie before watching the second. I went and watched the first one with them, but opted not to watch the movie in theaters with them.
Kill Bill: Vol. 2 is a great movie. It has a great ending. Uma Thurman kicks butt.
Apparently, a Kill Bill: Vol. 3 had been announced for 2014.*
*[20180202] The status of this sequel has since become a maybe.

20180202:
Today I watched Kill Bill: Vol. 2 again. According to my records it was my fourth viewing.
And while Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 are essentially meant to be a single movie (I wish there existed such a cut*), as is, I intuitively like Kill Bill: Vol. 2 more than Kill Bill: Vol. 1. Seeking a reason, my best guess for liking the second movie more is for three specific scenes: 1) the entire flashback to Beatrix and her training with Pai Mei, specifically the Three Inch Punch, 2) Beatrix pulls out Elle's other eye and the subsequent squirming, and 3) Beatrix executes the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique.
Regardless of which half is the better half, I would highly recommend Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2 to any movie fan.
Netflix determined the movie for me as a 97% match. I decided to give the movie a thumbs up.
*Apparently such a cut has been shown a handful of times in theaters but has yet to be released on blu-ray. It's called Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair.
Instant Comments:
4: The movie begins with recap and implies that The Bride has already killed #3 and #4 (since she says she only has Bill left)
4: Her name is bleeped again.
4: We hear Bud's line again. "That women deserves her revenge. And we deserve to die." But this time we hear him speak one more line.
4: Why didn't she just wait for him inside?
4: You can hear the record scratch when he starts the music up again.
4: "This is for breaking my brother's heart."
4: Pai Mei makes two blows through the wood.
4: Ha. She punched the wall in her sleep.
4: Her name is finally mentioned without being censored (1 hour 14 minute mark)
4: Elle's squirming is priceless.
4: "I would have been much nicer. I would have just cut your face." [He calls over one of the girls, who has a cut across her lips.]
4: "Bang bang."
4: Technically, although she admits the kills felt good, and
4: There were so many moments while she was looking for the strip, reading the directions, etc. that Beatrix could have just shot her. What a tense situation. Nice of that woman to check.
Credits:
4: After the credits, video footage is shown of Uma Thurman pulling the eyeball out of the Crazy 88 member and (presumably) the director yells cut and she says, "Oh come on. Let's do it again." Haha.
