Get Smart (2008)

The story was decent and there were a good number of jokes. However, some moments were more clever than others.

Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell)

One unfortunate aspect of the movie was that I didn't sense much chemistry between Anne Hathaway and Steve Carell. While I generally enjoy watching both actors, their performance in this movie was a letdown.

With that being said, the comedy spy genre can really be a hit or miss.

Netflix determined the movie for me as a 99% match. I decided to give the movie neither a thumbs up nor a thumbs down (though I considered giving it a thumbs down).

Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway)

Instant Comments:
Hahaha. He catches the fly.
Haha. Hahaha. The carbs.
Oh jeez. What kind of report is this.
WTF. "A wound from the last mission."
He walks into the disaster. Huh. Are Bruce and Loy behind it? They seemed suspicious earlier when they were upset about their fly.
Haha. Bill Murray.
Hahahahaha. He didn't push the button.
WTF. "Spiders have to be individually milked."

Max shoots himself

Haha. "You were truly hideous."
"Don't turn around, don't turn around. Use your peripherals." (to see something that's at his six).
That suspicious urinating...
Hahahahaha. Inhales the dart.
Wow. His response to her story. "Oh-kay."
That dance battle.
Haha. "Just once."
Smile. "Do I have to do it exactly like that?" (and then shows off his moves)
The look on face of Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway).

Agent 23 (Dwayne Johnson)

Hehe. "Her sister's such a bitch."
Haha. Missed it.
Hahaha. Hahaha. "I used to look like two of my moms put together.
Oh wow. That's neat.
Hahaha. His friends.
HA! "I don't know. Where you thinking 'Holy shit, holy shit, a swordfish fish almost went through my head?'"
They were able to run there?
Hahaha. His bum.
Hahaha. "What good hang time, huh?"
