The first time Hugh Grant's character Charlie cursed and the audio went silent I was confused. Eventually I realized the foul language was being censored.
Andie MacDowell's character Carrie was interesting. I love the scene where she starts recalling all the people she's been with. In general, I like how the movie addresses different aspects of love and romance, but the movie itself is just okay. With romances, and in particular romantic comedies, you might know that character A has to end up with character B, but I think a good movie is one that presents that outcome in an interesting manner. This movie didn't do that for me.
