John Carter (2012)

20190905:
Today I watched John Carter with my wife. I think it was one of those movies I watched because it's name had become implanted in my mind (perhaps from strong advertising).

Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins), John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) and Sola (Samantha Morton)

In any case, the action was good, but the plot was not. With no sequel in the works, I would not recommend this movie to others.

Netflix determined the movie for me as a 97% match. I decided to give the movie neither a thumbs up nor a thumbs down.

Instant Comments:
haha his continued attempts to escape

Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe)

why were some hatchlings killed? [I later reviewed the scene and it's because the eggs didn't hatch]
I didn't catch who ruined her presentation, rewinded.
"Perhaps it is the will of the goddess." "No, it is your will"
haha awkward, no support.
How did he identify her as human?
hehe "Maybe I should stand behind you?"

Matai Shang (Mark Strong)

Sylas (League of Legends) hahaha
"my right arms" plural
fast doggy
"We are strong, because we despise weakness! Let them be crushed, like unhatched eggs."
nice ending except as Ada questions, "Is she waiting for him?" Also I didn't catch how much time had passed.

Carter witnesses Dejah's skill with the sword.
