Kate (2021)

20250527:
This movie was strange in that some of the peak action is near the beginning of the film. The ending feels underwhelming or anticlimatic.

I was a little confused. I thought she was hesitant to shoot the kid but she just didn't want to shoot the target in front of the kid
Hmm. I guess 50% chance ti's the handler that is the root of the problem
I thought she was gonna ask for a gun, but she ask for her favorite soda
Hmm. Why not... if her mark now is Kijima, why that could not have been the mark before
She put together a makeshift silencer? Couldn't she just have gotten a real gun from her handler?
wow that's quite a finisher
hmm. she calls V. this moment would up my guess from 50% to 80% that he is working for Kijima, directly linked to poisoning Kate, and from her calling him here, he would tip Kijima off. at least that's a common trope
"Gaijin (外人, [ɡai(d)ʑiɴ]; 'outsider, alien') is a Japanese word for foreigners and non-Japanese citizens in Japan, specifically being applied to foreigners of non-Japanese ethnicity and those from the Japanese diaspora who are not Japanese citizens"; that's why earlier someone called her a half
"death is the time for beginnings"
I don't think she actually shot him
hmm. not sure how they synchronized with Ani or planned that. but that has to be faked somehow
I'm surprised Varrick is talking about this right in front of Ani? That's kind of weird
hehe. smile. "Boom Boom Lemon?"
hehe nice. backup
holy shit haha. he won that no contest. though Renji did state he was a businessman. I guess he underestimated Kijima though
hehe she shot him in the place he taught her to shoot to show it's personal
