20250707:
Today we came back from the Aquarium of the Pacific. I decided to watch some of this second episode with Mia (24 minutes).
20250708:
Finished this today. Overall, I think this felt a tad better than the first three seasons of Sailor Moon Crystal. With that being said, I still wish it had twice as much action. That is, pad the fight with some exchanges before one side throws out the super move. As it stands, the characters and their powers are just one-dimensional. Even their emotions are one-dimensional. Overall, the show and movie lack depth. Of course, I'll still end up watching the next movie, Cosmos.
Rating: 2.8/5
While each part is technically its own movie, the two parts share the same IMDb and Wikipedia pages. As such, I will follow suit and give them one blog post.

Instant Comments:
Part 1
1a: everybody having the same dream all the time is lame
1a: pause at the 48 minute mark
1b: so they just got their arcs and power upgrades (Mercury, Jupiter, and Mars) but here they're trapped because conveniently Venus has to go through her power upgrade
1b: Artemis transforms. Unlike the others who got their crystals from within theirselves, Venus gets hers from Artemis. meh
Post Credit:
1b: Is that Sailor Saturn?
1a=20250630,1b=20250701
Part 2
1a: Six months?
1b: resume epusode 2 at 6 minute mark
1b: hehe children Usagi and Mamo.
1b: half decent fight sequence here
1b: pause at 30 min mark
1c: resumed at 30 min mark
1c: hehe just a dream
1c: lol. another crystal. I feel like some of these new powers and such... they make sense in the moment, but often not in scope of the entire story. like why did the Golden Kingdom have to fall at all
hehe spoke aloud... they let Saturn and Chibi-Usa go after the quartet on their own.... as if they assumed the power level of those two would be enough to take on the quartet; and while that turned out to be the case, I don't know why that would have been sensible to assume
1c: why did the enemy imprison Helios and not just kill him?
1c: lol. they always know the name. "It's Eternal Sailor Moon!"
1c: what about Tuxedo Mask's golden crystal
1c: ah ok. here it finally comes into play
1c: why is it that Queen Serenity didn't defeat this Queen Nihellenia and just trap her? I guess a way to explain is that Sailor Moon took the power of her friends as well
1c: oh interesting. the pink "Sailor Moon" was really Chibi-Moon?
1c: this sets up Chibi Moon to have her own arc well. and yet... there isn't? (very common for children to have spin-off: Boruto following Naruto, Fuller House after Full House, Girl Meets World after Boy Meets World)

Damn. That's the unfortunate thing about the news getting out on these discoveries. Burning the art...
Hehe. As nice as that is... he was trusted with the notebook and if they're all gone that would just... well be irresponsible
Hehe. Missing a panel.
Wow. The panel used as a table
I thought they were gonna come out to be met by Russians
I think we saw Portrait of a Young Man burned, right? [yes, in the film it was show as being burned, but in reality its fate is unknown][according to Wikipedia it is known to have survived]
I mean focusing on one piece of art when there was an entire presentation about multiple pieces saved... while technically Jeffries did die in an attempt to save the Bruges Madonna, I feel like he was technically in the spirit of the overall mission

Sailor Moon Crystal
20250607:
I saw this show was expiring 20250630. With three seasons, I'd have to do some binging. Fortunately, 38 episodes at about 20ish minutes each would be just about 12 hours. In any case, I decided to watch with English audio (and English subtitles).
20250625:
I finished the series today. While it had its moments, and there was some nostalgia, I mostly felt it was a chore to watch. As such, I'll be giving it a low 2.2 rating.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sailor_Moon_Crystal
S1E1
The animation (in the intro) is quite different from the other Sailor Moon I watched
Sailor V. Sailor Venus?
14 years old
hehe. only got a 95
I feel like English audio for Usagi has been bearable, but Luna sounds weird.
missing princess?
"I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for love and for justice. I am Sailor Moon. And now, in the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!"
Amy [her name is actually spelled Ami]! I remember when I was younger, for some reason I was most drawn to Amy.
1=20250607
S1E2
Oh I see. Ami is the smart one. 100 on the test. Compared to Sailor Moon
That gets me thinking, why just summon one monster at a time. This would be applicable question to the Power Rangers series as well
Hehe. Wants to be smarter. Asks the smart kid to go to the arcade
WTF. Their pens came out the machine
Oh it was Luna's doing (the pens)
1=20250608
S1E3
Hehe. How all these people lurking?
What crazy parents
hehe. A flight attendent
I think thus far. The lame thing is that these fights primarily just focus on a few powers. For example, Usagi doesn't really fight at all. She's only really used her boomerang as an attack
Luna keeps talking about the princess. Isn't Sailor Moon supposed to be the princess?
He seemed to be fighting them at the base and yet no one else came to fight
1=20250609
S1E4
I don't understand how Luna knows so much, and yet at the same time not much. She doesn't know about the enemy... she doesn't know exactly who the Sailor Guardians are
I like her use of changing costumes...
hehe. "A new tiara." (interesting that her previous tiara got destroyed in the last battle. I didn't notice)
Was that Venus? Wait no. Venus is Sailor V. Jupiter?
1=20250609
S1E5
1a: Pause cause sleepy
1b: Resume at the 10 minute mark.
1b: Unlike the other girls, Jupiter didn't have to wait to be told what to say. She just immediately knew to say her transformation
1a=20250609, 1b=20250610
S1E6
Uh... where does Luna keep all these devices.
That was most definitely the silhoutte of Usagi with her long pigtails. "Find the Legendary Silver Crystal."
How strange... Luna knows she is from the moon. Usagi, of all the Pretty Guardians, is Sailor Moon. Like... come on. How dense are these characters?
What did he drop? [it is shown later: a broken pocket watch]
interesting, she determines who Tuxedo Mask is. I thought Tuxedo Mask would have remained a mystery for longer throughout the show
1=20250610
S1E7
Huh. Why would Luna lie about Sailor V?
1=20250610
S1E8
I'm guessing as she is walking away from the group here, Sailor Venus will talk with Artemis about how she's not the Princess.
Artemis explains Luna's memory was blocked
Hmm. Exciting end to episode.
1=20250610
S1E9
Ah. The crescent moon on Sailor Venus's head transitions to her own symbol
Hehe. Ami has like glasses
1=20250611
S1E10
1b: Resumed at the 11 minute mark
1b: action in this episode is peak action thus far
1b: lol. Venus knew and didn't tell them earlier!? I feel like... that's just surprise for the viewers. But like... in real life you should reveal that info earlier. Since that knowledge affects strategy
1b: hehe, they each paired and had a love?
1b: hehe. "Let's combine powers. Four are stronger than one."
1b: Question. How is it that she can control the Knights and Endymion, but not the Sailor Guardians? [Random: I was checking spelling of Endymion and learned that Endymion is part of Greek mythology. It seems there's multiple versions of him, but as a shepherd or astronomer he had the role of lover of Selene, the Moon goddess! Looking further... it seems there is more. "In post-classical times, Selene was often identified with Artemis" (Wikipedia) and "[Selene's] equivalent in Roman religion and mythology is the goddess Luna" (Wikipedia)]
1a=20250611, 1b=20250612
S1E11
She's dreaming, but she's still calling him "Tuxedo Mask" instead of "Endymion"
Ah. Here she says "Tuxedo Mask's... I mean Mamo's watch"
Wow. Ami sacrificed a perfectly good diamond for science. At least find a raw crap diamond to break
He remarks that the mind control didn't work
To me, what her mom said about the crystal, I feel like it means, it can never leave her. So even if Endymion takes it, she could like transport it back to her. But if it were that easy, I'm not sure why the Queen would have been worried about it being taken. So maybe my guess is wrong.
1=20250612
S1E12
1=20250612
S1E13
Ah! Cliffhanger. I wonder if this was actually the end of the season when it first aired or if it's just how Netflix breaks apart the episodes?
1=20250612
S2E1
huh Artemis sees luna as a person for a moment. she comments as if Luna were selene the moon goddess herself
whoa heal the whole earth? that's op. how do the pull back on that power? maybe just bad writing?
ooo chibi [if i remember correctly she is their daughter from the future]
1=20250614
S2E2
1a: New opening
1b: Resume at 13 minute mark.
1a=20250614,1b=20250616
S2E3
Luna-P
hehe. he used the same word that she heard in her dream "invisible" but it didn't seem to click for her
what a ridiculous pattern... this sister's power, like the previous, has an effect that lasts past her death. IMO bad writing
1=20250616
S2E4
I guess the part that doesn't click for me is if Sailor Moon is Chibi-Usa's mom, wouldn't she have already recognized her. Unless like... if Chibi-Usa's mom is a reincarnation of Sailor Moon.
Hehe. Cute. They reacted the same when getting the Sailor V dolls
Meh. So boring. Again with the Halation followed by the steal. I think by that point they would have changed strategies and just like torture the bad guy to release their spell first
1=20250616
S2E5
So dense. "A silver crystal from the future and one from the past. I don't understand. What does that mean?" - Sailor Moon. I feel like everything Chibi-Usa says implies she's from the future. I guess that's her style of shock. I would have made the deduction and said something like, "Wait... are you saying you're from the future!?! No way! I don't believe it." And then Chibi-Usa would insist "But I am from the future!"
1=20250616
S2E6
1a: so same thing with Mamo as Sailor Moon. wouldn't Chibi-Usa recognize her own dad? Maybe she isn't supposed to say, but that would make sense she loves him. Of course I guess Sailor Moon wouldn't know that and is jealous... though being jealous of someone so young is strange. like she thinks Mamo would like Chibi-Usa more?
1b: Resume at the 11 minute mark
1b: Huh. She presented herself as "Sailor Pluto. Guardian of the Underworld."
1b: Hehe. What kind of parent...
1b: Pluto says "the two of you"
1b: Neo-Queen Serenity. Diana. Tuxedo Mask
1a=20250616, 1b=20250621
S2E7
So he's thick too. "Who are you?" Given the context, I suppose it would be smarter to infer he is his future self.
It's been nine centuraries but the average life span is a thousand years... huh
How ugly. In the one seen. They were drawn so flat.
I agree. He could have said "we're"
1=20250621
S2E8
Uh... seems to me like the obvious answer is she should use Chibi-Usa's crystal
This guy shows up and he says he's surprised about the one shot... yeah... me too. So boring. I suppose especially when I'm used to other shows giving epic battles that last at least two episodes. They really could have drawn out some of these battles.
Crazy Sailor Moon... like she's imagining a father-daughter relationship? That's like so weird. Seems unnatural
She corrects herself to saying it's Neo-Queen Serenity, but isn't that the same?
1=20250621
S2E09
Huh. she says he won't be able to come back without a key. Well first, he made it to the future, so probably it's alright. Second, why didn't he just come back to get a key. What's the rush?
1=20250621
S2E10
I mean... she's being so emotional about it. Just because someone wills something, doesn't make it come true. It may be he really wants to fulfill his promise... but some situations are out of one's control
Uh. How weird. Evil Chibi-Usa loves her father in a creepy way.
She kissed him!?!
Wow. All five transforming takes about two minutes
Is Pluto necessarily in the future or is she timeless?
How did she gather that she was unwanted?
1=20250622
S2E11
Some decent growth with Sailor Moon (she empathizes with Chibi-Usa (Black Lady); she says how that kiss isn't real love)
Interesting. I just realized that this show is so shallow, it's really hard to predict what happens next. I have no idea what random power-up Sailor Moon will get to defeat Chibi-Usa. I suppose at some critical point, Neo-Queen Serenity will help Sailor Moon unlock Chibi-Usa's emotions. Then Chibi-Usa will break free and help defeat Wiseman
Hmm. Pluto senses something. If her place is with time. Shouldn't she be involved with the battle?
Hehe three laws but the third is kept from us
In traditional time travel... just go to a different point in time and stop it then?
Hehe. Little cat Diana to watch the door. Interesting loophole sufficient to convince Pluto
Hehe. Okay. Admittedly interesting plot development (two crystals can't touch apparently) (but he knows this... he says he is going to end it)
1=20250622
S2E12
hehe. the third rule. if it weren't told to her, she probably would not know she had the power to do it
though to be fair, we aren't yet told the consequence of using the power
Ah ok. So it was Pluto to break through to Chibi-Usa
Did she make her own Silver Crystal? Or did it just like come to her
Hehe. Did she become young again?
They stand their with their hands in different gestures (based on their attacks)
Chibi-Usa didn't join the attack
Prince Demande
Hehe. Alot of stories have to do with someone exiled and then somehow causing trouble. Only to then as a result have to be killed
1=20250622
S2E13
Huh. Neo Queen Serenity closes what I thought was a trope. She says she did attempt to defeat him, but something about losing her abilities as a guardian
Hehe. Cute. "In the name of the future moon. I'll punish you."
Uh. But didn't Tuxedo Mask meet his future self? Unless somehow the astral projection doesn't count.
Hehe. They turn to speak with each other...
I mean... that she gave her past self power is technically kind of changing history. But... in terms of a cyclical time story, she would have herself experienced all that Usagi just went through... so I guess it wasn't written with that in mind
Chuckle. Back already
1=20250622
S3E1
New intro
Oh wow. New transformations
Ami has a more natural ending pose to the transformation. Her previous pose had this interesting, yet unnatural posture
Oh wait, she does the weird posture thing in this naming of herself. When she does her quote
1=20250622
S3E3
Hehe. She just straight up asks if Haruka is a Sailor Guardian.
Hehe. Haruka kisses her. But she is already involved with the other Sailor... (Michiru was it?)
1=20250623
S3E4
Hehe. Crazy Chibi-Usa. Goes just because they said they knew Usagi
1=20250623
S3E5
1a: Ha! I didn't see that coming. For Sailor Moon to ask, "Tell me, Haruka. Are you a man, or are you a woman?" 1a: Nice response. "Is my sex that important?"
1a: Oh, I don't think it really clicked until Tuxedo Mask called her "Usa" here that "Chibi-Usa" is because it's "Chibi Usagi"
1a: Ha! "Like maybe... cheat on him?" Oh Chibi-Usa
1b: Resume at 19 minute mark
1b: They both transformed but only Uranus attacked... lame
1a=20250623,1b=20250624
S3E6
Just blurting out in an apartment building that Haruka is a sailor guardian like her
1=20250624
S3E7
Huh "she is both"; I feel like this didn't need to be spoken
1=20250624
S3E8
Chibi-Usa calls her Super Sailor Moon
Oh, Neo Queen Serenity told Chibi-Usa about it
The Sailor Guardians almost going out in a fight in the last episode was on the edge of cool. Then it goes back to just an attack that vanquishes the enemy. So lame.
Uh. Did they lowkey all fly?
The three outer Guardians know of Saturn, but the inner Guardians must be bad at planets cause it's clear there was a just one planet left that didn't have a Guardian.
I'm not sure I understand the story they're telling. Somehow Silver Millenium was already being destroyed and then Saturn was summoned. I feel like it's more of a Phoenix kind of situation [I couldn't help but Google it. AI response contained this "Destruction and Rebirth: Sailor Saturn's primary role is to destroy planets, which is necessary for rebirth. She wields the Silence Glaive and can destroy entire worlds with a swing. However, this act of destruction also allows for new life to begin." This aligns with my expectation]
1=20250624
S3E9
A couple episodes ago, it was a Chibi-Usa based ending. This episode changed to Tuxedo Mask
1=20250624
S3E10
1b: Resume at 4 minute mark
1a=20250624, 1b=20250625
S3E11
I thought when the outer guardians were raising their weapons, they would somehow summon Sailor Saturn back
Chibi Moon is admiring Sailor Moon's power (becoming Super Sailor Moon) but I feel like that's just the combined power of the Guardians. I don't think Sailor Moon really does anything in a character growth perspective to become more powerful... at least other than have emotions. which I suppose is the point? But like... she's just having emotions... there's no deep reflection or struggle
How cheesy. Sailor Chibi-Moon also gets a chalice to become Super Chibi-Moon
1=20250625
S3E12
They launched the same attack again? Don't they have limited power or something to launch such powerful attack?
Ah, Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon finally run out of juice
I think one thing I like to watch Demon Slayer is the protagonist there is always thinking about strategy of the fight. This is like the opposite of that show. There's no strategy whatsoever. Not one moment are they thinking... maybe we can try to summon Sailor Saturn with our talismans. It doesn't have to work. They just have to try it
huh. one of them said "oh no" like a bad thing
Saturn herself speaks ominously with no upside to help the Guardians feel better about what she's going to do
the attack is called "Death Reborn Revolution"
she said "and Earth to total annihilation"
1=20250625
S3E13
the theme song plays during whatever Sailor Moon is doing
finally. she talks about rebirth.
interesting. she says something about Sailor Moon
"but only to create rebirth"
A baby!
The transition image now includes Saturn
hahaha. make-up tests
Rei goes to a different school or what? [yes, Rei does not go to the same school]

Hehe. Cute. They reacted the same when getting the Sailor V dolls
Meh. So boring. Again with the Halation followed by the steal. I think by that point they would have changed strategies and just like torture the bad guy to release their spell first
1=20250616
S2E5
1=20250616
Diana. Tuxedo Mask
1a=20250616, 1b=20250621
S2E7
So he's thick too. "Who are you?" Given the context, I suppose it would be smarter to infer he is his future self.
It's been nine centuraries but the average life span is a thousand years... huh
How ugly. In the one seen. They were drawn so flat.
I agree. He could have said "we're"
1=20250621
S2E8
Uh... seems to me like the obvious answer is she should use Chibi-Usa's crystal
1=20250621
S2E09
Huh. she says he won't be able to come back without a key. Well first, he made it to the future, so probably it's alright. Second, why didn't he just come back to get a key. What's the rush?
1=20250621
S2E10
I mean... she's being so emotional about it.
1=20250622
Hehe. Okay. Admittedly interesting plot development (two crystals can't touch apparently) (but he knows this... he says he is going to end it)
1=20250622
S2E12
hehe. the third rule. if it weren't told to her, she probably would not know she had the power to do it
though to be fair, we aren't yet told the consequence of using the power
1=20250622
S2E13
1=20250622
S3E1
New intro
Oh wow. New transformations
Ami has a more natural ending pose to the transformation. Her previous pose had this interesting, yet unnatural posture
Oh wait, she does the weird posture thing in this naming of herself. When she does her quote
1=20250622
S3E3
Hehe. She just straight up asks if Haruka is a Sailor Guardian.
Hehe. Haruka kisses her. But she is already involved with the other Sailor... (Michiru was it?)
1=20250623
S3E4
Hehe. Crazy Chibi-Usa. Goes just because they said they knew Usagi
1=20250623
S3E5
1b: They both transformed but only Uranus attacked... lame
1a=20250623,1b=20250624
S3E6
Just blurting out in an apartment building that Haruka is a sailor guardian like her
1=20250624
S3E7
Huh "she is both"; I feel like this didn't need to be spoken
1=20250624
1=20250624
S3E9
A couple episodes ago, it was a Chibi-Usa based ending. This episode changed to Tuxedo Mask
1=20250624
S3E10
1b: Resume at 4 minute mark
1a=20250624, 1b=20250625
1=20250625
1=20250625
S3E13
the theme song plays during whatever Sailor Moon is doing
finally. she talks about rebirth.
interesting. she says something about Sailor Moon
"but only to create rebirth"
A baby!
The transition image now includes Saturn
hahaha. make-up tests
Rei goes to a different school or what? [yes, Rei does not go to the same school]

The Birds (1963)
20250603:
After watching the movie, I immediately went to look up what it meant. The main theme mentioned is about the retalitation of nature. Reading this, I figured that makes sense. There was an explicit mention by the ornithologist. She said birds are kind and it's humans who have invaded their space.
Then, afterwards, I watched a teaser (or what seemed like what would be a teaser in the 1960s) where Alfred Hitchock begins with some facts about how humans have used birds for decoration (feathers / whole) and food. There is some humor in the teaser, but also an implication that what humans have been doing is wrong. The movie ends with his finger being bitten by a bird in a cage and then Melanie comes through the door shouting "They're coming!"
I like conversations and story, but the ending was too abstract for me. Perhaps I'm so accustomed to modern movies which spell so much out.
Rating: 4.0/5
Instant Comments:
1a: hehe teasing her. he knew she was lying as he continued to test her. funny is she didn't catch on that he knew
1a: is this really how it was back then? you can just ask whatever you want and people freely giving information out about others
1a: what a strange woman. she's flirting with him? perhaps the Hayworth woman has similarly been involved with Mitch, i.e., she seemed to have hinted as much earlier
1a: paused at 25 minute mark
1a: while resuming the movie, it occurs to me from the movie's description this is an Alfred Hitchcock movie
1b: love how the bleeding continues. I would have probably wiped the wound with a handkerchief
1b: hehe the interaction between the mother and the woman
1b: It's interesting how he uses terms of endearment with his mother: "Dear" "Darling"
1b: haha. quite a fun conversation between the two. he did handle it quite well. in particular, he sees through her lies and got her to open up quite a bit
1b: wow. you just don't get gravity like that in movies nowadays... not that I can remember. At least rarely. Though to be fair there is survival bias ("But it isn't dark out Annie, it's a full moon." Annie looks over at her and the scene fades away)
1b: Yikes. I expected he'd be dead but that's rather gruesome. Also interesting is that she didn't scream. She just ran out in shock. And she didn't even tell the workhand
1b: I feel like there is a subtle suspense for me in that leaving the mother to check on Cathy exposes the mother to potential harm. However, then logically I figure the mother is an important figure that helps develop the story. So she probably wouldn't die, at least perhaps not until some closure occurs between her and Melanie
1b: the crow in the background
1b: more crows...
1b: hehe more crows
1b: whoa. that's well done. she tracks the one crow and it lands and now we see the playground is crowded with them. very stark number imagery
1b: manual rollup windows. I remember those. from what I recall, as a passenger, I don't mind so much, but the convenience of using electronic buttons from the driver seat to control the other windows definitely is a convenience
1b: conversations feel very organic. with the waitress yelling out something and interrupting the old woman. it's still fictional in the realm of movies, but it feels more organic
1b: oh no the gasoline
1b: huh. this woman is hysterical. like Salem Witch trials type hysteria. clearly Melanie can't be the cause. like birds aren't going crazy in her presence. She was living her whole life elsewhere without crazy birds. if anything from her point of view, she would believe it's all the fault of Bodega Bay
1b: oh no. not Annie Hayworth. though why would she have gone outside to begin with? perhaps she was escorting Cathy home and got attacked before she herself could get inside. the thing is she doesn't look so attacked as to be dead
1b: interesting. the mother's intuition is to go towards the wall. I suppose that makes sense as then your assumption is whatever is attacking is in front of you. but I suppose I would choose a different wall, internal to the house, as opposed to one that's near a window, which would be the assumed source of the birds
1b: okay. now they moved to the bookcase.
1b: that mirror is so thin. it would just tip over
1b: oh nice. he came back to nail it to the door
1b: though were houses made of anythign different then? how would they peck through the door but not the walls of the house?
1b: the lovebirds?
1b: hmm they seem fine
1b: yikes. what's gonna happen. caption refers to the sound as "soft fluttering"
1b: don't open the door
1b: why would she do that?
1b: but I feel worse is her failure to open the door
1b: seems silly. not sure like... from a story point of view... what's the point
1b: she looks already dead
1b: I suppose one interesting thing is no one has guns and is shooting the birds. and here like he carefully moves his car up as opposed to like squashing a couple
1b: also interesting is how during this scene some birds grab at him even though this is like the non-aggressive phase
1b: hehe the lovebirds... my goodness. how will this movie end
1b: that's a touching moment. Melanie in the arms of Mitch's mother. as she earlier spoke of not knowing a mother's love as her own mother left when she was young
1b: wow. that's it. gripping

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)
20250603 Comment:
This movie had some good action, but I think the escape felt somehow impossible and yet it happened. Somehow the Red Queen had all this ability to track the intruders and escapers but the ability for the Umbrella employees to locate them took what seemed forever. I'm also curious what limits the creation of the super zombies other than what's convenient for the movie.
Rating: 3.0/5

huh. that was quite unexpected. she wakes up. things seem super normal. and then a zombie comes in. what is perhaps more strange is how he reacted.
Michelle Rodriguez [Rain]
lol. maybe don't keep the windows down?
oh wow. is Michelle Rodriguez [Rain] dead? was this just a cameo?
ah ok. she's still ok. but what exactly do the zombies seek out if they just pass by the car
so it's just a dream?
kind of random to have clothes in a prisoner area; though at least there aren't weapons so I guess maybe these are what prisoner clothes look like at a Umbrella facility?
I love that she keeps the bike chain for a melee weapon
trippy. sweep the corridor with the laser grid and the door opens to the outside world. but they spent all that time interrogating her, and they were gonna slice her with a laser grid?
whoa "Tokyo sequence initialized"
are they all zombies?
pretty good choreography
aww... why did she throw the bike chain away
hehe the uniform/drawer contained platform shoes (at least practical relative to high heels)
Ada Wong in her standard wear. Interestingly I barely have played Resident Evil 4
huh. Leon
he looks kind of weird, but he's wearing his classic brown jacket
hmm. question. what's the point in amassing money if the whole world is in shit. in particular, I feel like creating an antidote wuold have been equally profitable. if not more. and smarter too
ah. what we saw earlier was this simulation
oh. a clone of Alice (ah so earlier it was a clone of Michelle Rodriguez's character [Rain]; which I guess thinking back she died in the first movie... I think she had been bitten partway through anyways so at some point she sacrificed herself?)
since everything was as we witnessed earlier, it means the area has not been reset. so the little girl will be alive?
and Michelle Rodriguez gets to be back! along with other former team members
while this kid is just a clone, she is nevertheless a person... so I think it's reasonable for Alice not to abandon her. like sure if she died along the way, then it is what it is...
sometimes the characters, hehe I mean actors, look funny as they're just kind of standing there. here Jill. and earlier at the opening the way Alice was standing. just kind of hehe non-superhero. which like is the meme in that Black Widow movie
hehe the uniform has nipples ("they're coming, we have to hurry. go")
ah. the other Michelle Rodriguez [Rain] clone. she's wearing heels. I feel like in such a survival situation, she should have found shoes to switch out to.
whoa. would it even make sense to shoot this beast of a thing?
I guess we don't really hear Leon speak in RE4. So perhaps hearing him talk here. he sounds cheesy. the way he said "She always hasa plan"
hehe Leon said he wouldn't have risked so much for one person. that's good. a lot of times these groups saving just one person doesn't seem reasonable
ah. how sad. she's dead already (the civilian Michelle Rodriguez [Rain] clone)
why would that big monster go for that one little girl and just stop there. do all zombies just want to eat? it seems like... why do these other zombies have an incentive to shoot their targets? are they just trying to spread the virus? doesn't the host have to be alive for success? oh well haha. I guess somehow the virus reanimates the dead. I still feel like I'm heading to a major weirdness in how zombies even work. let's just take it back to the main question. why did the big zombie come all that way hunting just to grab a single little girl when it could have (assuming it's goal is to spread a virus) just kill and contaminate everybody in the area
what!?! she managed to kill that big monster so easily
epic final shot
dang. that's a lot of clones.
okay. I feel like Ada Wong has to survive. But if she survives, the so can Jill. And I imagine other zombies as well.
of course. one of the subs. but in reality how did the get to a sub in time from their position
eww. bullets out the fingertips.
I feel like if you threw out the axe like that, you would track where it went for later
huh. looks like Jill released her weapon, it didn't look like she got disengaged. but it would be weird to release the weapon without a reason like landing a blow
hehe. really? just had to rip off the device?
holy cow. what a way to die
Jill had this device whose claws were in her chest but it doesn't seem like she has any wound marks
hehe awkward. he grabs her thigh
hehe she takes his hand off
weird. Jill gets blocked at the door and immediately turns around to look at a computer
this portrayal of Wesker seems like a cheap copy of Agent Smith
where does one go from here? somehow destroy several nations worth of zombies?

of course. one of the subs. but in reality how did the get to a sub in time from their position
eww. bullets out the fingertips.
